History

The Currituck Club is a gated community located between the beautiful, unspoiled, northern Outer Banks beaches and the famous Currituck Sound.

A visit to The Currituck Club offers access to not only beautiful beaches, but to an 18 hole Rees Jones-designed links-style golf course that is also an Audubon Society Cooperative Sanctuary.  Families can take advantage of lighted tennis, pickleball, basketball and volleyball courts, many swimming pools and well-appointed Fitness Center.  In-season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), you can enjoy a casual, open-air ride on our trolleys to the beach where you can enjoy our unique beach valet service.  When you step off the trolley, be sure to visit the Surf Shack to rent your chair or umbrella and grab a snack or ice cold beverage.  You'll be glad you did!

Corolla is home to the famous Outer Banks wild horses that still roam free in nearby historic Carova.  These majestic creatures have lived in our area for over 500 years and are our local treasure.  While out and about, a visit to the Science Center is sure to be fun, or visit the Currituck Lighthouse or Whalehead estate, both in Corolla’s Heritage Park, which transport you to a bygone era.

Guests staying with us at The Currituck Club will enjoy a full array of activities and amenities in beautiful homes, all with the safety and security that a gated community offers.

Come join us at the beautiful Currituck Club along the unspoiled northern Outer Banks of North Carolina in the spring, summer, fall and winter!
