We are currently under a hurricane warning as Arthur approaches.  While no evacuation of Currituck County is expected at this time, it is a good time to remember some safety issues.   You’ll want to make sure you fuel up your vehicles, pick up any necessary prescriptions and check emergency kits and batteries.   As for your home, remove or tie down any outside objects that might blow away.   With respect to exterior furniture, the lightweight chairs and lounges should be placed in the garage while heavier furniture should be placed on its side and in as protected location as possible.

 

I have attached the most recent information from Emergency Management which includes a map of the anticipated route of the storm.  We have begun the precautionary measures throughout the Club to protect the property.  As you see us around, please feel free to ask us questions or let us know of any concerns you may have.
